Internship description: The selected candidate will be responsible for researching & analysing current economic issues; collecting & analysing data using mathematical models including forecasting, preparing reports that present research results & writing articles for publication. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics (Hons) Degree (minimum 2nd Upper Class) or at the final stages of obtaining such qualification.

The candidate will be responsible for doing tasks related to  researching & analysing current economic issues; collecting & analysing data using mathematical models including forecasting, preparing reports that present research results & writing articles for publication.
1. Research Skills: Interns will learn how to conduct thorough research on current economic issues. This includes identifying relevant topics, sourcing credible information, and synthesizing findings.
2. Analytical Skills: The role involves collecting and analyzing data using mathematical models and forecasting. Interns will develop the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and understand economic patterns.
3. Technical Proficiency: The use of mathematical models for analysis will enhance the interns' proficiency in quantitative methods and statistical tools, which are essential skills in the field of economics.
